Squirrel Monkey Encounter

Swing into adventure with our exciting Squirrel Monkey Encounter – a wild experience you won’t forget! These energetic, playful primates are full of personality, and now’s your chance to meet them up close in one of the most engaging animal experiences we offer!

Perfect for anyone aged 8 and up, this encounter is both fun and educational. You’ll be thrilled to interact with our lively squirrel monkeys in a safe and supervised setting.

A friendly zookeeper will be your guide, sharing fascinating facts about these clever little creatures – from their habitats to their social behaviours and favourite foods. You'll get to watch them leap, climb, and explore, and even have the chance to feed them a snack!

This is more than just a visit – it’s an up-close, hands-on experience filled with lots of monkey mischief.

Please note, this experience is open to individuals aged 8 and above. Children between 8 and 15 must be accompanied by a fully paid adult participant.

Age Requirements: 8 years and older PLEASE NOTE: for the safety of both children and the animals, Children 8-15 years MUST be accompanied by a fully paid adult.
General Admission is not included.
Our animal’s welfare is our top priority and will be determined by a Hunter Valley Wildlife Keeper. Participants must be able and willing to follow instructions given by any wildlife park staff and keepers. By entering the encounter, participants agree to act in a safe, appropriate and respectful manner at all times. Encounter participants are to meet a keeper at the meeting point for a safety brief and introduction to the encounter before entering the enclosure.
We require a minimum of 24-hours’ notice prior to your encounter for any changes made to your booking.
Encounter Tickets are non-refundable.

Camel Feeding

Our friendly Camels love a snack and a pat, but be careful to hold you hand flat as they may get carried away taking the food from your hand.  Purchase animal food from the admissions counter on your way into the park.

Our energetic Common Marmosets are always excited to meet new friends - and now, you can step right into their world! Watch them leap and climb through their treetop playground, and feed them a treat.

BLACK & WHITE RUFFED LEMUR ENCOUNTER

Get close to ruffed Lemurs - these critically endangered primates are a social animal and your encounter might even feature two Lemurs!
