Embark on an extraordinary journey, forging an intimate connection with our Hunter Valley animal family. Picture yourself feeding a majestic lion, playful meerkats upon your lap, or hand-feeding Lemurs – the possibilities are as diverse as the encounters you choose.
Experience the thrill of getting up close with squirrel monkeys, our binturong, giraffes, and endearing common marmosets. Age restrictions and safety conditions apply to all animal encounters, ensuring a secure and memorable experience.
Our Encounters are very popular, so if the specific animal encounter isn't available for your preferred date, fear not! We offer over 24 incredible private animal encounters across our three iconic locations - Mogo, Featherdale Sydney and Hunter Valley Wildlife Parks - check out our sister parks!
At Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park, you can follow our bird keeper right into our Little Penguin Enclosure, and hand feed the world's smallest species of penguins whilst you learn more about the behaviour and characteristics of these mesmerising flightless native birds.
Quokkas are well-known as the 'world's happiest animals' with their characteristic grins, and Featherdale is the only place on Australia's East Coast where you can hand-feed these adorable animals
If heading south is more your style, at Mogo Wildlife Park, and you can encounter our magnificent tigers up-close, hand-feed a red panda, and even spend some time face-to-face with a hyena!
As an Ultimate Explorer, you'll be able to choose a complementary encounter for 2 people at any Australian Wildlife Parks location, and there's loads more member benefits for you to enjoy! It's our thank you to you for supporting all the animals that call our parks home.
An Australian Wildlife Parks gift card is a great way to treat someone special to a great day out, or why not spoil them even further! You can gift a personalised animal encounter, or even an annual pass to our Explorer Club!
Gift cards are available for Hunter Valley Wildlife Park, Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park and Mogo Wildlife Park on the South Coast of NSW.
